Are your plates road legal?
Every plate sold as road legal is made to BS AU 145e with the correct character font, dimensions, spacing and supplier markings, by a DVLA-registered supplier. Show plates are the exception — they're for off-road use and marked as such.
What documents do I need?
Proof you're entitled to the registration (usually your V5C logbook or new-keeper slip) plus ID. It's a legal requirement for every road-legal plate, and uploading takes under a minute. See the full list of accepted documents.
How fast is delivery?
Order before 3pm on a working day and your plates may be dispatched the same working day, subject to production capacity, payment and — for road-legal plates — document approval. After 3pm, at weekends or on bank holidays, dispatch is normally the next working day. Timings are estimates, and delivery is free on every order. See delivery & dispatch for details.
Do you sell just one plate?
Yes — front or rear individually, or as a pair. Prices shown are per single plate, with pair pricing in the builder and on the pricing page.
Can you do 4D on a motorbike or import plate?
Yes. 4D 3mm is available across our legal size range, including motorbike, shortened, hex and import sizes. Motorbike plates are made in Standard 2D and 4D 3mm only — the smaller blank does not take gel or retro finishes. See UK plate sizes explained.
What if there's a problem with my plates?
If a plate arrives faulty, damaged or not as ordered, we'll put it right with a replacement or refund. See our returns & refunds page.
